A cinematic failure on almost every level. Cabin Fever purports to be a horror movie about 5 college kids who go up to a vacation in the wilderness and get exposed to a flesh eating disease…. The movie can scarcely be called horror–there are gross-out moments and a few instances of forced startles from director Eli Roth, but the movie is simply inscrutable, nonsensical and lacking in anything scary, tense or even interesting. This is a bad movie, and you really should not waste your time.
